Renee Fajardo is the project director for the Colorado Folk Arts Council. (colofolkarts.org) and Azteca Art Colorado. Both groups operate as a 501(c) 3 non profit. Together these two groups strive to provide excellence in cultural programming and education. Winners of a prestigious 2009 Colorado Endowment for the Humanities Award, CFAC and Azteca Art Colorado are one of Colorado's most respected arts education providers. Fajardo is also a nationally renowned writer and journalist with over 15 years of experience in art education and cultural storytelling.
